I love having Modern Animal as a vet. My husband and I got two kittens this year, really young and they have had to go to the vet A LOT and we have always had a great experience. It’s calming when you enter, there are guest treats and everyone has felt like they were excited to see/ or meet our little guys and cared about their health and our peace of mind. We really love having the app too, especially in the first year of their lives. The vet can be a scary place but I feel like Modern Animal has cared to make it a more positive experience for them as much as is possible!

Modern Animal has THE most extraordinary teams, service and hospitality. Going there is like being home and when you’re worried about your pet there couldn't be a better feeling. I adore you guys. And today, at the Manhattan Beach location the receptionist who plays reggae, Roxanna and Dr Steenis truly rocked my world and made my mind calm and my heart flutter. They are truly amazing at what they do and their approach to body language and behavior was phenomenal. 20 starts for you guys!! 💗💗💗

We adopted our beloved Callie from a cat community at my Mom's memory care facility in LA. Little did we know that she was pregnant. They staff at both the Culver City and the Manhattan Beach offices were caring, knowledgeable and helpful to deciding care options for Callie. We are so grateful for their professionalism and support. They were so awesome. Recommend them with anyone needing superior care.

Our puppy got spayed yesterday and we had such an amazing experience with Modern Animal! Dr. Storm and Roxanna did an amazing job throughout! Roxanna sent me updates throughout the procedure and sent me a picture of our puppy recovering after the surgery which gave me so much peace of mind! So grateful for how communicative and kind they were during such a stressful day! I cannot recommend the manhattan beach location enough! Every single doctor and nurse I’ve interacted with has been so professional, so kind, and always answer all my crazy dog mom questions!

I’ve had such a great experience with this veterinary office. The entire team is kind, compassionate, and incredibly understanding. They’ve always taken the time to explain things thoroughly and never make you feel rushed or overwhelmed. What really stands out is how consistent they are with timely updates—I always know how my pet is doing, whether it’s during a procedure or follow-up care. It’s clear they truly care about both their patients and their people. Highly recommend!

Dr. Prince is not only knowledgeable and skilled but also takes the time to answer all questions thoroughly, ensuring pet owners feel informed and involved in their pet's care. During our visit, Dr. Prince conducted a thorough examination of our dog and provided a clear diagnosis along with various treatment options. Her ability to communicate complex medical information in an understandable way is commendable. Additionally, she showed genuine concern for our dog's comfort and well-being, which gave us peace of mind. Lovely venue that honestly doesn’t feel like a traditional vet at all. The space is modern, calm, and welcoming, which immediately puts both pets and owners at ease. The staff is beyond friendly, and the doctors are attentive, thorough, and genuinely caring. You never feel rushed, and it’s clear they truly prioritize the well-being of the animals. Free parking right outside is also a big plus and makes visits much easier. Prices are definitely on the higher end, but in this case, you really do get what you pay for. I’m ok to spend the extra money knowing my pets are being looked after with such care and professionalism. The only downside is the limited hours. For anyone working a standard 9–5 job, it can be challenging to find an appointment time that fits without taking time off work. And they charge you $50 if you don't show up or if you're over 10/15 minutes late.
